Section 25 of 29

The physical license (or digital verification) serves as “prima facie” evidence that the holder is validly licensed. Prima facie is a Latin term meaning "on its face" or "at first sight." In court, holding the license document is sufficient proof that the person is licensed unless evidence to the contrary is introduced (e.g., proof that the license was revoked).
