FLORIDA REAL ESTATE SALES ASSOCIATE COURSE
License Law And Commission Rules
Section 4 of 15
This section covers the rules for the big state exam. It’s not just about taking the test; it’s about keeping it fair and secure. The "Top Secret" Rule The state exam is confidential. The state takes this extremely seriously to prevent cheating. Theft is a Felony: Stealing the exam, copying questions, or sharing the answers isn't just "cheating"—it's a third-degree felony. Don't Share: You can't memorize questions and then go tell your friends or a prep school what was on the test. For most DBPR exams (including real estate), the passing score is 75%.Foreign Languages: If a significant number of people speak a language other than English (like Spanish), the DBPR must offer the exam in that language. Disabilities: The exam must comply with the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). If you have a disability, the state must provide reasonable accommodations so you can take the test fairly. If you don't pass, it's not the end of the road. You have the right to review your exam questions and answers to see where you went wrong. You generally have to pay a fee and request this review within 21 days of the fail date.
