FLORIDA REAL ESTATE SALES ASSOCIATE COURSE

Authorized Relationships, Duties, And Disclosure

Section 14 of 31

Single Agent Relationship is the opposite of Nonrepresentation. A Single Agent relationship is the highest level of representation you can offer in real estate. As a Single Agent, you don't just facilitate a deal; you act as a Fiduciary for your client. This means you are legally bound to put their interests above everyone else's—including your own. Because this bond is so strong, you can only represent one side of the deal (either the Buyer OR the Seller), never both. You cannot be 100% loyal to two opposing teams at the same time. In this relationship, the person you represent is called your Principal.
